The history of Melmak GmbH
Melmak GmbH was initially based in Dießen am Ammersee from 2001 and later moved one town further to the industrial estate in Raisting, district of Weilheim in Upper Bavaria.
The shareholder and senior partner of the company, Mr Klaus Hagenmeyer, had gained extensive experience in the treatment of fractures with low-intensity pulsed ultrasound through his work as a consultant to US companies.
His in-depth study of this topic, direct contact with doctors and practical experience led him to have therapy devices with this signal configuration manufactured in Germany.
Melmak's specialisation in this one therapy device with a specific signal configuration and the continuous development of a Germany-wide customer service that is increasingly better adapted to the needs of patients and doctors has made Melmak better known and larger.
The care of patients is provided by a well-trained in-house service team. The long-standing, proven and highly experienced Melmak team is based in Raisting in Upper Bavaria with a view of the Alps and Zugspitze.
It was important to the company founder to always keep the patient's needs in mind. At Melmak, the patient should not be a case number, but should be perceived as a person. And that is still our greatest endeavour today.
